Terms of Service
By using Study Central (the "Service"), you agree to these terms. If you're using the Service on behalf of a school or district, you confirm you have authority to accept them for your organization.
What the Service is
Study Central is a classroom hub. Teachers create and share class hubs; students and parents view assignments, resources, and due dates. Some features connect to your Google account (Classroom™, Calendar™, Drive™) — only with your permission, and only as described in our Privacy Policy.
Your account and content
- You're responsible for the content you post to your hub and for keeping your class links appropriate to share.
- You retain ownership of your content. You grant us only the license needed to store and display it to the people you share your hub with.
- Don't post content that is unlawful, infringing, or harmful to students.
Acceptable use
- Don't attempt to access other users' hubs or data.
- Don't disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service.
- Use of Google data is governed by the permissions you grant; you can revoke them anytime at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Student data
We collect only what's needed to run the Service, never sell it, and never use it for advertising. Schools remain in control of their students' data. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Paid plans
Some features (such as Parent Premier) are paid. Prices and billing terms are shown at purchase. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or stated otherwise at purchase.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available but don't guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may update features or these terms; if changes are material, we'll post the updated terms here with a new effective date.
Termination
You may stop using the Service anytime and request deletion of your data. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Disclaimer and liability
The Service is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Headline Press is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
